With so much stuff searchable on the web, it is always challenging to decide what we should read and what we should avoid. My mission is to bring the Revelations of what the Spirit has revealed to me. I am encouraged by the Holy Spirit to pass this wisdom on to my friends and family. You will inevitably ask me what I believe. I believe in what I believe. It’s time for you to take a stand and to decide what you believe.
I can make anyone reading this feel comfortable. For example; I grew up in Baptist church, the son of the church choir director and my best friend was the preachers kid. I have a Mennonite background and my family roots are connected to the early Christian Church. My ancestors martyred themselves to profess their faith and generations before me, have lived selfless, faithful, obedient lives, dedicated to spreading the gospel of the Kingdom and good news of Jesus Christ.
I can also make non-believers feel at ease by declaring I play in rock bands, I toured bars and casinos. I’ve struggled with bad habits and totally gave up on church but, not on finding God. I chose to study many other faiths and religions searching for the ultimate truth. This blog is a collection of “spirit lead” insights that I invite you to chew on. I won’t sugarcoat anything because I look at Jesus as the pattern Son, the blueprint, the prototype, the first spiritually begotten Son of God. When you meet Jesus you will be given a GPS with specific coordinates. The coordinates shows the journey Jesus took and the GPS is the Spirit of Truth. Jesus revealed the directions to the Treasures of God. I you want them you must follow his route. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me.”
So what we believe here spiritualkitchen.com is what the Spirit of Truth has revealed to us thus far.
Scripture:
We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, (the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments) to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). We believe the original scriptures were God-breathed, (historically, scientifically, morally, and spiritually) and are the complete and final authority for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Holy Spirit perfectly guided human authors and scribes to write precisely what He wanted written, without error or omission (2 Peter 1:21). Scripture reveals the being, nature, and character of God, the nature of God’s creation, and especially His will for the salvation of human beings through Jesus Christ. The Bible is therefore our supreme and final authority in all matters that it addresses.
Newer Bibles have been slowly removing key verses and intentions which is why we believe we must seek to preserve the original texts and early translations. For example newer Bibles remove over 17 whole verses (Matthew 17:21 Mark 9:44 11:26 15:28 Luke 17:36 Acts 8:37 examples). For a greater understanding of this, study the findings of Les Garret. Which Bible Can We Trust?
Creation
We believe that the physical universe and all of nature is the visible creation of God. It showcases God’s existence and reveals a trustworthy account of God’s character and purpose. In Scripture, God declares that through His creation all humanity will recognize His existence, power, glory, and wisdom. God’s Word and God’s creation, one verbal and one physical, will not contradict each other.
God
We believe in one personal, eternal, infinitely perfect God, the Creator and sovereign Sustainer of the universe.

“Lord, I don’t have the discipline needed for Your holy work. You have to give it to me! Give me Your burden for lost souls. Put Your weeping Spirit in me. You are my only hope – so I surrender and turn totally to You. I’ll do anything You tell me. And I will depend on You for everything!”
